Understanding 'Revocable Living Trust'

What is a Revocable Living Trust?

A Revocable Living Trust, often referred to as a "Living Trust" or "Revocable Trust," is a versatile estate planning tool that enables you to manage your assets both during your lifetime and after your death. This is the type of trust included in our Trust-Based Estate Plan.

Irrevocable Trusts, on the other hand, are less common and not typically used in standard estate planning. Many individuals who consider an Irrevocable Trust are often looking for the benefits provided by a Revocable Trust. In fact, Revocable Trusts make up about 95% of all trusts created.
