How to Edit Information in Your Estate Plan Documents

While you can't make direct edits to the final PDF documents, you can update your Estate Plan through the website. Any changes you make will automatically update the digital PDF documents in your account.

What parts of my Will or Trust documents can I change?

You can edit any of the information from the sections you completed when creating your Estate Plan, including:

- Basic Information: Name, email, relationship status, children, and state.

- Guardians: Primary and Backup guardians for children or pets.

- Assets: Details about your assets.

- Distributions: Beneficiaries, exclusions, executors, gifts, charitable donations, and more.

- Arrangements: Resting place, ceremony details, and any special instructions.

- Health Care: Primary and Backup Health Care Agents, care instructions, organ donation preferences, and access to medical records.

Please note that you cannot edit Power of Attorney documents online due to various federal and state regulations. Instead, we provide a template that you'll need to complete by hand.
